• When will someone come out to look at my home?

  You will be contacted by a claims resolution manager within 1 – 2 business days. An independent adjuster will be assigned to your claim and contact you directly to schedule an inspection.

• When will I receive money to pay for my damages?

  Your assigned claim resolution manager will review the claim process with you during the initial contact call. At that time, the claim process and coverage can be discussed. 

• What is my deductible?

  Your resolution manager assigned to your claim will provide deductible information. The deductible may also be found on the declarations page of your policy. 

• Can I start cleaning up the damages?

  Yes, please mitigate to prevent any further damage to your property. We ask that you take pictures before and during any temporary work that is performed. Also, please save any damaged parts from appliances, and if you are throwing out carpet or tile, please save a sample in case the adjuster requests it.

• Can I cancel my claim later if I want to?

  You may withdraw your claim at any time once you speak with your claim resolution manager.

• How can I reach my claim resolution manager?

  For Flood and Homeowners claims, you can call the claims department at 727.308.0496 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm ET or via email at csc@bankersinsurance.com. For Commercial and Builders Risk claims, after you report a claim, your claim resolution manager will provide you with their contact information. Or you can call 844.233.8405.

• Where can I send documents and photos for my resolution manager to review?

  For Flood and Homeowners claims, all documents and photos should be sent to csc@bankersinsurance.com. We ask that you please include the claim number in the subject line so that we can match it to your claim. For Commercial and Builders Risk claims, all documents and photos can be sent directly to your claim resolution manager. We ask that you also please include the claim number in the subject line. When you are reporting a claim for the first time, all documents and photos should be sent to ÃÍÁÏÔ­´´InsuranceClaim@mvsc.com.

• Can I enter a claim online?

  Yes. For Homeowners and Flood claims, you can enter a claim through the consumer portal at . Make sure you have your account set up. If you have not set up your account, follow the steps below

  • Have your Policy Number ready.
  • Head to our to create an account.

  We’ll walk you through the steps of linking your policy to your account, and then you’re all set! 

  We are unable to report Commercial and Builders Risk claims online. To file a commercial or builders risk claim, please contact 844.233.8405, or send an email to ÃÍÁÏÔ­´´InsuranceClaim@mvsc.com. Note: If you are filing a commercial construction defect claim, please call ÃÍÁÏÔ­´´ at 727.308.0496 during the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ET.
